Canadian-based rapper Blitz quietly crept onto the scene
in 2002, when his music was featured on Punjabi MC’s
online radio show 60 Minutes of Desi. He’s been making
noise ever since. The release of his debut album, The Rhyme
Book, in late 2007 (released through VIP Records/Soldier
Sound Recordings) caught the attention of industry heavy
hitters and fans across the globe, garnering Blitz 3 singles
on the BBC Asian Network’s Top 10 chart; 2 UK Asian
Music Awards nominations; and licensing deals with Universal
Music UK, Universal Music India and Times Music India. He’s
performed on stages worldwide, including the UK’s Glastonbury
Festival, Asian Music Awards, BBC and Zee TV. |
