


Avant Garde Dance – Taxi!
Combining traditional street theatre with high impact, high energy street dance, 'Taxi!' takes us on a comic journey through the hurly - burly of urban London seen through the eyes of a London Cabbie and his motley selection of passengers. 'Taxi!' Is a rare gem of a show that delights audiences with its humour, charm and originality.


Jannat
a unique London Mela commisssion for children. A storyteller and three costumed stiltwalkers present a story of the environment, climate change and the effects this has on the inhabitants of an island. Jannat is the second phase of our 3 year Cultural Olympiad Project, in association with the Vayu Naidu story telling company.


Naumati Baja
The Nepali music known as Naumati Baja always consists of nine instruments.
Naumati Baja consists all the instruments used in Panche Baja with an addition of two pipe instruments; either Narsingha or Karnal. Narsingha is a long, curved horn like pipe instrument, popular in Central Nepal. Karnal, the Narsingha of Western Nepal is not curved like Narsingha.
Karnal is a straight and big-mouthed natural trumpet. In Naumati Baja, there are two Damaha and two Sahanai to make a total of nine instruments.

Nutkhut presents three new shows:

Bespoke
A brand new small-scale walkabout act, which amusingly reveals the hidden world of the bespoke tailor. Weaving in and out of the audience on a vintage bespoke bicycle, the company of tailors will have the audience in stitches as they comically share the various tricks of their trade.

The Princesses
Dripping in Jewels and draped in Silks, the Princesses will enchant with their beauty and charm.

Miss Benn
An enchanting installation that pays homage to the Sari Shop Mannequin. Inspired by the 1960's cult classic Mughal-e-Azam and using social history from actual recordings of shopkeepers, the piece brings to life a hidden world of the London suburbs.
