Although not strictly British, Dutch rapper and beatboxer F1rstman recently collaborated with H-Dhami, Juggy D, Raxstar and Mumzy Stranger on the 2018 hit ‘Dance’ and his recent single Soniyere featured Sunday’s headliner Arjun.
Born in Southall, Juggy D has been singing since the age of 14. Last year, he made a surprise appearance at the London Mela and joined headliner Jay Sean on stage. His 2004 album was the first Punjabi language album to enter the UK national charts, and he has also made two cameo appearances in movies.
British Bangladeshi MC, singer, songwriter and music producer Mumzy Stranger has won several awards including Artist of the Year (Asia) at the Urban Music Awards and is also known for his charity work.
17:25 Panjabi Hit Squad
Panjabi Hit Squad are British DJs, producers and radio broadcasters for BBC Asian Network and formerly BBC 1Xtra. The group recorded several albums, including Desi Beats Vol 1 with Def Jam. They have won the UK Asian Music Awards three times, in 2003, 2005 and 2012. They produced two albums for Ms Scandalous, Ladies First and Aag.
They won two UK Asian Music Awards (UK AMA) for Best Radio DJ, in 2003 and 2005. In 2007, Panjabi Hit Squad started to host their own show on BBC Asian Network on Saturdays from 6pm–9pm. In 2012 they won the UK AMA for Best Club DJ. They are long time supporters of The London Mela having performed on conventional stages and been part of commissions and The Mela Carnival in 2012.

Saloni is an 18-year-old singer and songwriter based in Milton Keynes. She has been singing Indian Classical Music since the age of 4 and developed an interest in Western Pop and Bollywood. In June 2017, Saloni won Milton Keynes Upcoming Female Artist and later in the summer she appeared on stage with the famous Indian Idol Winner of 2017. In May 2018 Saloni won a trophy from UKTA (United Kingdom Telugu Association) for Upcoming Female Artist.
British Indian bhangra star H-Dhami is the son of Palvinder Dhami, lead singer from the legendary bhangra group Heera. He has had numerous hits and won two UK Asian Music Awards.
